- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 12 chocolate wafers
- 12 Hershey’s Kisses
- 1 tube black decorating icing
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
- Once cooled, top each cupcake with a chocolate wafer and pipe black icing around it.
- Place a Hershey’s Kiss on top to create the witch hat.
Notes
