  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, then mix until well combined.
  5. Alternately add the flour mixture and milk to the creamed mixture, starting and ending with flour.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Let the cake cool before slicing.
  8. In a bowl, toss strawberries with powdered sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
