1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, ground turkey, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
While the meatballs are baking, prepare your sauce if desired.
Remove from the oven and serve with sauce.
Notes
For a creamier sauce, add heavy cream towards the end of cooking.
These meatballs freeze well. Store before baking for quick meals later!
