- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package puff pastry sheets
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut into squares.
- In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Place a spoonful of the mascarpone mixture and sliced strawberries in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the corners of each pastry square over the filling and seal.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
