Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tray with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the sugars with the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the muffins cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
