  • 34 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in a slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the top of the roast.
  3. Add the pepperoncini peppers and butter on top.
  4. Pour the beef broth around the sides of the roast.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the meat is fork-tender.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sear the roast before placing it in the slow cooker.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes or on a bun.
