- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, eggs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the cooked ziti, followed by half of the marinara sauce, and half of the cheese mixture. Repeat the layers.
- Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
Notes
- Let the baked ziti sit for 10 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
- Can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
