Million Dollar Baked Ziti

A creamy, delicious baked ziti recipe that’s perfect for family gatherings.

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, eggs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the cooked ziti, followed by half of the marinara sauce, and half of the cheese mixture. Repeat the layers.
  5. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.

Notes

  • Let the baked ziti sit for 10 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
  • Can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
