  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Mix until well combined, then form into meatballs about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.
  7. Add the meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Serve warm with pasta or on a sub roll.

Notes

  • For a little extra flavor, add some grated cheese into the meatball mixture.
  • These meatballs can also be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer.
