- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup Kalamata olives, chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- 1 cup spinach or lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, feta, olives, onion, garlic, oregano, pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix until well combined.
- Form mixture into 4 patties.
- Preheat grill to medium heat and grill patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- Toast the whole wheat burger buns on the grill during the last few minutes.
- Assemble burgers with spinach and tomato on the buns.
