Honey Glazed Carrots & Green Beans

Delicious and easy to make, honey glazed carrots and green beans make the perfect side dish for any family meal.

  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add carrots and green beans, stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in honey and season with salt and pepper; stir to coat.
  4. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until vegetables are tender and glazed.

Notes

  • For a bit of crunch, add some sliced almonds during the last few minutes of cooking.
  • Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey to taste.
