  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the chilled butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in the egg yolk and cold water until the dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough and cut it into rectangles.
  6. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
  7. Place a spoonful of filling on half of the rectangles.
  8. Cover with the other rectangles and seal the edges.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool, then mix powdered sugar and milk for icing, and drizzle over the pop tarts.
