  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool and frost with your favorite mint-chocolate frosting.

  • For an extra layer of flavor, add crushed mint chocolate cookies as a topping.
