Gordon Ramsay’s Scalloped Potatoes

A delicious and creamy dish perfect for any occasion, featuring layers of thinly sliced potatoes, turkey bacon, and chicken ham, all baked to perfection.

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 ounces chicken ham
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the potatoes thinly using a mandoline.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic in butter until translucent.
  5. In a baking dish, layer the potatoes, turkey bacon, chicken ham, and sautéed onions and garlic.
  6. Pour the heavy cream and chicken broth over the layers.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add herbs such as thyme or rosemary between layers.
  • Let the dish rest for 10 minutes before serving to set the layers.
