  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

  • 1 cup Fruity Pebbles cereal
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for filling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, sift together almond flour and powdered sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk egg whites and cream of tartar until peaks form.
  4. Gradually add granulated sugar while whisking until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold in the almond flour mixture and Fruity Pebbles.
  6. Pipe circles onto a baking sheet and let them sit for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, then cool completely.
  8. For the filling, whip butter and heavy cream, then slowly mix in powdered sugar.
  9. Sandwich macaron shells with the filling.
  10. Let them mature in the fridge for 24 hours before serving.
