1 pound chicken breast, diced
1 cup orzo pasta
2 cups French onion soup
1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or Gruyère)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
Stir in the French onion soup and orzo pasta. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
For added flavor, you can sauté some onions and mushrooms with the chicken.
Feel free to use rotisserie chicken to save time.
