Easy Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chopped turkey bacon
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until onion is translucent.
  2. Stir in shredded chicken and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add egg noodles and cook until tender, about 6-8 minutes.
  5. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream and turkey bacon. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
  6. Simmer for 5 minutes before serving.
