Easy Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

A comforting and hearty creamy chicken noodle soup with the delightful addition of turkey bacon, perfect for any meal!

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
  2. Add the onion, carrots, and celery to the pot and sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the shredded chicken and egg noodles, cooking until the noodles are tender.
  6. Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream and thyme. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with crumbled turkey bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter option, substitute cream with milk.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables of your choice.
