Easy Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

This easy creamy chicken noodle soup is loaded with turkey bacon and will warm you up on chilly nights!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup egg noodles
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine chicken broth, carrots, and celery. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Once simmering, add the egg noodles and cook according to package directions.
  3. Stir in the shredded chicken, crumbled turkey bacon, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sauté the carrots and celery in a bit of olive oil before adding broth.
  • This soup can be made ahead and stored for easy lunches throughout the week.
