Easy Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds potatoes
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon
  • 8 ounces chicken ham
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the potatoes thinly and layer them in a baking dish.
  3. In a pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then add the chicken ham.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour, then add milk and cream to create a sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce over the layered potatoes and scatter the bacon and ham on top.
  6. Sprinkle cheese on top and cover with foil.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden.

Notes

  • Let it sit for a few minutes before serving for better slicing.
