  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper until bubbly.
  4. Slowly add milk while stirring, cooking until thickened. Add cheese and stir until melted.
  5. Add macaroni and turkey bacon to the cheese sauce; mix well.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
