Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings

This comforting Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings recipe is easy to make and perfect for any family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 cups refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, and black pepper. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  3. Add the frozen mixed vegetables on top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, cut the biscuit dough into quarters and place on top of the chicken mixture.
  6. Cover and continue cooking until the biscuits are cooked through and fluffy.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
