Creamy Sausage Soup

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 pound chicken ham
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, carrots, and celery; sauté until tender.
  3. Stir in garlic, thyme, and pepper; cook for another minute.
  4. Add turkey bacon and chicken ham; sauté until browned.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream.
  7. Simmer for 10 minutes; season with salt to taste.
  8. Serve hot.
