- 8 ounces turkey bacon
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from pot and chop.
- Add the onions and mushrooms to the pot and sauté until onions are translucent.
- Stir in flour and cook for another minute.
- Add the chicken broth, stirring to combine, and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, then add the chopped turkey bacon.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
