  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the softened butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in caramel bits.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
