- 2 cups milk (or plant-based alternative)
- 1 apple, diced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter (or vegan alternative)
- In a saucepan, bring the milk to a simmer over medium heat.
