Cheesy Garlic Zucchini Steaks

Delicious cheesy garlic zucchini steaks that are easy to prepare and a delight for vegetable lovers.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium zucchinis
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the zucchinis lengthwise into 1/2-inch thick steaks.
  3. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush both sides of the zucchini steaks with the garlic mixture.
  5. Place the zucchini on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of each steak, and return to the oven.
  7. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For added flavor, try drizzling some balsamic glaze on top before serving.
