  • 4 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, boil sweet potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
  3. Drain and transfer the sweet potatoes to a baking dish.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter and mix in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.
