Cajun Potato Soup

A flavorful and hearty Cajun Potato Soup made with turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for a comforting meal.

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings.
  2. Add onion and garlic to the pot and sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in diced chicken ham and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add cubed potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, then serve topped with crispy turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For a spicier soup, add more Cajun seasoning to taste.
