  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  4. Add the chicken thighs and cook until browned on both sides.
  5. Mix in garam masala, cumin, and paprika.
  6. Add crushed tomatoes and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and stir until combined.
  8. Season with salt to taste and let the sauce thicken for about 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with cilantro before serving.
