8 ounces bowtie pasta
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
In a large pot, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In the same pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the cooked pasta to the beef mixture and stir to combine. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and cover until the cheese is melted.
