Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Transfer the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before removing from the pan.

Notes
